Sorry we have been absent from the blogging world for a while! With Anna Kate growing and keeping us on the move, we have missed almost a month of blogs. Here is a quick update on us...pictures will follow shortly.
Anna Kate loves the pool! With the purchase of her first bathing suit, we gave our gal an introduction to the water. She tested the waters of the baby pool in the backyard and then we let her splash around in a friend's big pool. She did great and loves the sound of splashing in the water.
Anna Kate said her first word...well, first consonant sound. One morning she woke up with DADA on her lips. At first I thought it was a fluke, but she has continued and loves to chatter away with her new word.
We took our church's first mission trip to Mexico. With a team of 13, we crossed the border into Tijuana for four days serving a small village there. Anna Kate made it through with only a few mosquito bites to show for her trip down south.
Tomorrow we are off to Texas! We are going to a wedding in Dallas that Jonathan is officiating, so we will get to see family and friends for the weekend. What fun! We will post more when we return. Until then, happy blogging!
