Teething Time
Yes, we are teething. I say we because Anna Kate is not the only one involved in this process. She may be the one producing the actual teeth, but Jonathan and I are the ones walking the journey with her every day...and night. One morning she woke up more fussy than normal and after ruling out our normal agitators, we realized it was teething time. She has several pearly whites that are almost poking through, but in their journey upwards, are driving our poor baby crazy. Her days are fussy and her nights are very wakeful. Therefore, our days are tough and nights are tougher. We have tried some well known remedies, but Anna Kate dislikes the teething ring and prefers to suck on pieces of ice. These days, I would try almost anything to give her some relief. Pray for us as we surmount the challenges of teething and that those teeth would hurry up and come through!

We used that baby orajel and it really worked with Charlie, it seemed to help with the pain, also (we tried not to use it very often) but at night we would give him baby tylonal before he went to bed. I know it is a tough time, but I promise it will pass and you will have your sweet angel back again.
Oh girl, I'll be praying for you. It's so disheartening when your little one is hurting like that and you can't do much to help.
One thing I've learned about parenting is right when you've found a good rhythm, a kink gets thrown into the mix....like teeth! We did the baby Tylenol at night on days that Jacob was particularly fussy. Hang in there. This too shall pass!
There are also some teething tablets by the brand Hyland's that you can get over the counter. They seemed to help Jakob when he was teething and you can give them as often as you need to. :) Good luck! It will get better!
I know you don't really know me, but I went to school with Jonathan. Anyways, we used these camilia drops, and they are amazing! All it is is chamomilla tea and it really helps calm them down. You can usually find it at a health food store. Hope this helps, just remember it doesn't last forever.
Teething is SO hard! They are just fussy and you don't know what to do with them! I will pray for Grace during this hard season. It will pass all to quickly - just like everything :) jayden has three teeth on top and two on the bottom and loves to chew on everything now. i hope that you are all doing well! we love the updates! hope you had fun with robin! christy
We love Anna Kate's new room--so cute!! Love, Gran Jan and Grandpa
